Granola

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup raw almonds roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • ¾ cup applesauce unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • Pinch or 2 of Sea Salt
  • Cinnamon to taste both Nigella and I like a lot of cinnamon
  • Ginger powder to taste
  • 1 cup golden raisins

Instructions

  1. Mix the oats, almonds, and sesame seeds in a large bowl.
  2. Mix the applesauce, oil, salt, plus cinnamon and ginger in a small bowl.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the oat mixture, and mix til well combined.
  4. Spread evenly on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  5. Place in a 335 F oven for 35 minutes, stirring about every 10 minutes (Evenly toast mixture)
  6. Allow to cool, then MIX in the raisins.
  7. It should keep for about 1 month in an airtight container.
