Ruby RED Herbal Iced Tea

Here's the instructions for making 1 quart of this delightful Hibiscus infusion

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Hibiscus flowers
  • 2 tablespoons Rose Hips
  • small handful Lemon Balm fresh

Optional:

  • 1 tablespoon milky oat tops
  • 1 teaspoon orange peel fresh or dried

Instructions

  1. Place herbs in a 1 litre/quart glass canning jar with a good lid.
  2. Add freshly boiled water to fill the jar.
  3. Immediately cover with lid
  4. Allow to steep 10-15 minutes
  5. Strain the infusion into a 2nd canning jar.
  6. Top with lid
  7. Allow to come to room temperature
  8. Refrigerate the jar or transfer to your serving pitcher
  9. When chilled, it's ready to serve
  10. Enjoy!
