Kicked UP Apple Cider

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Apple Cider
  • 2 teaspoons Ginger root fresh, grated
  • 2 teaspoons Turmeric root fresh, grated
  • or 1-2 teaspoons Turmeric root powder if fresh not available
  • 2-3 strips Lemon or Orange peel fresh if possible
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or your own preference
  • 2-3 shakes black pepper ground

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients, except the oil + black pepper, in a small pot and heat 'on medium' for 4-5 minutes.

  2. Turn off the heat and allow to steep for another 5 minutes.
  3. Add the coconut oil + black pepper.
    Stir.

  4. Strain into mugs or a small pitcher. Enjoy!
