Ingredients
1tablespoonlocal garlicminced
1tablespoonred pepper flakes
1cupolive oil
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine the garlic, red pepper flakes and oil.
Heat the oil slowly until small bubbles form.
Keep on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and let cool.
Store in a dark cupboard for a week or two.

Now it's "choice" time! Either strain the oil or allow the hot flakes to stay put. I tend to strain and then bottle in small jars For home use, I leave the hot pepper flakes in the oil You can also strain the garlic + chili flakes out. Label. Keep refrigerated. Use within 60 days.
